Techdoktorn
About
Techdoktorn is a project I am building around tech support and IT services, with the goal of taking something most people find stressful (a broken device, a confusing setup, a problem nobody can explain) and making it feel approachable. The starting point was simple: people do not want jargon, they want their stuff to work, and they want to talk to someone who treats them like they are smart.
The idea
So much of tech support is really about communication. The actual fix is often quick; the hard part is explaining what went wrong in a way that does not make the customer feel foolish, and building enough trust that they call you again next time. I wanted Techdoktorn to carry that tone all the way through: clear language, honest pricing, and an interface that respects the person on the other side rather than burying them in options.
Building it
The build uses React and TypeScript, with a focus on a clean, fast, and reassuring experience from the very first screen. Because the audience is broad and not especially technical, accessibility and clarity took priority over anything flashy. Generous tap targets, readable text, obvious next steps, and as little friction as possible between having a problem and getting it solved.
Behind the interface, the structure is built to grow. Today it is mostly about presenting services and making contact easy, but the foundations are there to add booking, status tracking, and follow-ups later without having to start over. I would rather build something small that is solid than something sprawling that is fragile.
What’s next
Techdoktorn is still early and being shaped as it goes. The near-term focus is nailing the core experience for a first set of real customers, then letting their feedback decide which features actually deserve to be built next.
